Spotlight 1

I have recently had the idea of a way to recognize the LGBT people that do great things by as some would say trailblazing or opening the doors and shedding light on different things or voicing their opinion on already know things. However, I consider them artists by a different definition because even though possibly the same people would say what they're doing can be represented by others *not that I disagree* but it's the passion and dedication and uniqueness behind what they do. Uniqueness is part of the ingredient for art as well as inspiration in my opinion and for the first spotlight I want to recognize three people that give a unique but still very real look into an LGBT way of life. Studology101 *Pookz and DZ* and their manager Taye. Studology101 is made up of two very attractive people and they give people a look at things from a studs point of view and Taye, well a very great mind produces very great work. The manager tends to stay behind the scenes *my personal opinion is idk why...* but I have seen a few videos with her in front of the camera and it makes a great video even greater.

The first video is quite a funny video that shows Studology101 and Taye and is about a popular website -

The second video is a behind the scenes video that features a few other people, including a very gorgeous woman that works with Studology101 and Taye. It is a recent video for a great campaign -

Unfortunately I can't post the video but here is the link. Please visit and show support -

Amazing Artist 2

I first heard this artist when I was watching one of my favorite shows one ustream. The hosts of the show were doing a special web-a-thon and when the donations starting coming in there was a performance or something special done. Before this artist even performed I thought she had a very cool look and style and when she rapped on the show I officially became a fan. Below is a link for and my favorite video of Amazing Artist 2 Lady Mobsta -

When is it ok....?

I was planning to do my usual writing and drawing but today I had to step back because something I recently learned about has my mind racing in a different direction. What I heard brought back other thoughts I had on things that I had heard within the past few weeks. There are so many ways to talk about this so I'll just go with questions -

When is it ok for cops to brutally beat an innocent person and just get reassigned? Follow the link ~> http://www.blackamericaweb.com/?q=articles/news/moving_america_news/15908

When is it ok for a religious leader to preach judgment is a sin but then turn around and judge a member of their church in front of all the other members and say they are possessed? *Love is Love*

When is it ok to be African American and say "What do the people of Haiti have to do with me?"

When is it ok to hate on someone when there are already forces against them?

When is it ok to call a person a 'thing' or an it when they are a person just like you? (and a bigger person than you are since you had the audacity to do that)

Before I close out this blog I do want to give credit goes to two particular people for this blog because I wouldn't have written it if I didn't hear about it and if they didn't fuel the fire that made me write it *Love you two so much*.

Also I want to recognize just a few of the people that I personally admire because they inspire me by how they just be them and/or do great things. Tasean, recent cohost of a very excellent BlogTalk radio show. Jazzie and the other people of The Urban L Magazine *I read it very often*. V. Bella, a great writer and all around wonderful person. The great people and personalities that make up 3minds, much love goes to them for their products and live Friday night show. Much love goes out to all of the people I admire. *If it was even a short time ago and I didn't have the inspiration I do now, I couldn't have written something like this.*

My Thoughts Music 1

My thoughts 1 (rambling)

For 2010 I vowed that I won't be n a relationship, flirt or do anything socially beyond friendship because most of the time it's too much of a distraction and I don't have time for that. However there are days or moments where being single sucks. I write romantic stories and draw romantic pictures most of the because it's my dream to have that one day. That meaning genuine love, nights (and days) of passion and warm arms when I want or need them...Warm arms that rescue you and seem to be the only security you need.I get a wonderful feeling just thinking about it. Nights like this I think about music more than usual. If it's not the words that clear my head it's the beat and feel of the music. Avril says it best. Even though she's talking about a stranger it's like the stranger somehow has the ability to take her away. I long to escape. To a city or a beach and hopefully closer to genuine love.

Appearance and Ideas

In Society, there are many things that are done or said that makes me wonder about a persons view and ideas of life. Appearance is a considerable thing when it comes to first impressions and how a person views themself because it reflects. But what if it becomes far-fetched? Earlier this month I was asked the question 'Are you attracted to a man with glasses or contacts?' My answer was both are attractive to a certain extent. I'm not picky about it. Appearance is something, personality and mind r another thing. The person then replied 'I feel the same way..people tell me they prefer me with glasses cause it makes me more real.' That really confused me. I then started thinking what sense does it make to say that something so easily removable makes a person more real? There will always be the trendy person with the beautiful hair, 'flawless' skin and hottest outfits, but take that away and what is there? Either thoughts of how to help others, expand the mind and better yourself or thoughts that are completely opposite. One of the most vital things for survival is the mind. I repeat I do think glasses and contacts are attractive thing but I have never thought they make a person. Go beyond what the eye beholds.

Stupidity at it's best

One time I was on ustream watching 2 of the LGBT communities finest was the coolest things to me. The biggest reason was because they were able to answer a question for me and comment of a couple of my IMs because of all the other people watching the stream. There were other IMs that were good, some funny, some funny, some random, and also some that were just outrageous. There were some IMs that said things like "U 2 r 2 beautiful 2 b studs", "Are you two men or women" and so on. I was going 2 say something but the other viewers had it covered, not n a very mature way but yea. I was tempted 2 go along with the other viewers but I chose not to,immaturity is not something I do.(thinking it was bad enough...) The best of people know how to just be real, they have no shame in being real and they know how to never sink to their haters level.People that say foolish things without thinking only want attention. Hateful people will do any and everything to drag people that are above their level down 2 their level. Haters and people who speak without thinking are an example of stupidity at it's best.
